Bio

Ziad Nahas, MD, is a psychiatrist who treats adult patients with mood disorders and treatment resistant depression and specializes in performing deep brain stimulation and electro-convulsive therapy. Dr. Nahas sees patients at the University of Minnesota Medical Centers West Building Psychiatry Clinic. His scientific interests lie in translational research of mood dysregulation and depressive disorders and has received several awards including the NARSAD Independent Investigator Award and the Developing Scholar Award at MUSC. Dr. Nahas is a full member of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology and a Professor and Vice-Chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
