Your Radiation Therapy Visit
After your treatment plan is scheduled, your daily radiation treatments will begin. Treatments are scheduled Monday through Friday, leaving the weekends for rest. Your radiation oncologist will determine the longevity of your treatments depending on your type, location and stage of cancer. Treatments may last up to several weeks. Your personal support team plays an active role in your battle against cancer, and we encourage any friends or family to accompany our patients to their therapy sessions.
