Winston Cavert MD

Winston Cavert, MD, is an infectious disease physician who cares for patients living with HIV. Dr. Cavert sees patients in the Infectious Disease Clinic at M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center - Minneapolis. His research interests include the transcriptional pathogenesis and population biology of HIV and its target cells in tissues (lymphoid tissue, CNS, gut), as well as clinical virology including viral fitness and sequencing. Cavert is also an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School’s Division of Infectious Diseases and International Medicine.
