Taleen A. MacArthur MD

Dr. Taleen A. MacArthur is a vascular and endovascular surgeon specializing in the treatment of peripheral arterial disease, carotid disease, complex dialysis access, and aortic aneurysms. Dr. MacArthur has special interest in limb preservation with both open and minimally invasive techniques. She brings a passion for advancing vascular care and personalizing treatment to each of her individual patients. Dr. MacArthur earned her medical degree at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey and then completed her vascular surgical training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. MacArthur has a strong track record of clinical and academic accomplishment. During her vascular surgery training at Mayo Clinic she won numerous awards including the Charles C. Guthrie Award for Most Outstanding Basic Science Research from the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society in 2025, the Peter Gloviczki, M.D. Research and Academic Award, and the Thomas C. Bower, M.D. Clinical and Teaching Award—both presented by the Mayo Clinic Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. She also was awarded a prestigious R-38 Grant from the National Institute of Health's National Heart Lung and Blood Institute for her work on coagulation and thrombosis in surgical patients which she pursued during her surgical training. Dr. MacArthur keeps the needs of her patients first, and strives to provide a personalized, tailored approach to meet each of her patient's unique needs.
