Sara Shumway MD

Sara Shumway, MD, is a cardiovascular surgeon whose wealth of experience ensures excellent judgment in all matters related to the heart, lungs or aorta. Dr. Shumway performs heart and lung transplant surgery, as well as cardiovascular surgery and thoracic surgery. Dr. Shumway sees adult patients at M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center - Minneapolis, M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center and M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Heart Care. Her current research focuses on improving heart and lung transplant outcomes.
