Bio

Robert Levy, MD, is a family medicine and primary care physician with expertise in addiction and chronic pain medicine. He practices full-spectrum family medicine, including obstetrics, diabetes management, mood disorders, and preventive care. Dr. Levy is an assistant professor in the University of Minnesota Medical School’s Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, and a member of the University of Minnesota North Memorial Family Medicine Residency faculty. He is a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and has received a grant to help Minnesota address the opioid epidemic. His research interests include addicted health care professionals, opioid addiction in pregnancy and the neonatal period, perinatal mood disorders, and neonatal abstinence syndrome.
