Piet de Groen MD

Piet de Groen, MD, is a gastroenterologist who treats adult patients with colon and rectal polyps. He specializes in colonoscopies and endoscopies. He sees patients at the University of Minnesota Medical Center East Bank Hospital and University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center. His research interests explore colorectal cancer prevention, colonoscopy and quality of endoscopy. Dr. de Groen is also a professor of medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
