Nabeel Azeem MD

Nabeel Azeem, MD, is a gastroenterologist. His specializes in all aspects of interventional and advanced endoscopy, including endoscopic resection of gastrointestinal neoplasia using both gastrointestinal endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD); peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) for achalasia; treatment of pancreaticobiliary disease; interventional endoscopy and advanced endoscopic treatment of bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract. He sees patients at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Dr. Azeem is an assistant professor in the University of Minnesota Medical School Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. His research interests include endoscopic resection of gastrointestinal neoplasia, endoscopic therapy for achalasia, third space endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) guided treatment of gastric and ectopic varices.
