Michael Georgieff MD

Michael Georgieff, MD, is a neonatologist who treats pediatric patients in need of neonatology, NICU and pregnancy and birth care. Dr. Georgieff sees his patients at University of Minnesota Health Pediatric Specialty Care Explorer Clinic. His clinical interests include iron and infant development and perinatal iron metabolism. Dr. Georgieff is also academically interested in research and has published over 225 scientific articles. In addition, he is the Executive Vice Chair and Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
