Bio

Melissa Brunsvold, MD, FACS, is a critical and acute care surgeon whose expertise lies in surgery and critical care medicine. Dr. Brunsvold treats adult patients at University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center. Her clinical interests include adult respiratory distress syndrome, infection and sepsis and rescue from surgical complications Dr. Brunsvold is also an associate professor in the Division of Critical Care/Acute Care Surgery and the program director of General Surgery Residency in the Department of Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
