Mark Nelson MD

Mark Nelson, MD is a family medicine physician at Mill City Clinic. He’s quite familiar with the Mill City neighborhood, having worked for many years as an actor on stage at the Guthrie Theater before making the transition to medicine. As a family medicine doctor, Dr Nelson feels particularly fortunate to witness and share in the incredible stories, the joys and sorrows of his patient’s lives. He enjoys getting the opportunity to help patients understand their choices with the complicated world of medicine and to work with them to achieve their individual goals. His clinical interests include preventive medicine, performing arts medicine, underserved medicine, addiction medicine and health policy.
