Dr. Kirkegaard is a third-generation family doc with over 30 years of clinical experience. Her work expands beyond clinical care to encompass healthcare advisory and policy development. Her personal mission statement is: To provide compassionate, comprehensive care while working to expand access to—and improve the quality of—the U.S. health care system, through professional leadership, medical education, health care research, system redesign and health policy reform.
