Dr. Hassan is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He is an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in sports medicine for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. He also has a particular interest in hip preservation and treats patients with a wide variety of pre-arthritic hip disorders from dysplasia to impingement.
"Hip preservation surgery is a rapidly evolving field. I strive to provide thoughtful and compassionate care to my patients as well as improve techniques and patient outcomes via collaborative research."
Clinical Interests
Arthroscopic and open hip preservation procedures (including periacetabular osteotomy, hip arthroscopy, and surgical hip dislocation); ACL reconstruction for adults and growing patients; Knee ligament repair and reconstruction; Cartilage preservation procedures of the hip and knee; Arthroscopic treatment of shoulder instability
