Bio

Lydia Najera, MD, is a nephrologist who treats pediatric patients in need of kidney and transplant care. Dr. Najera sees her patients at University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center and University of Minnesota Health Pediatric Specialty Care Discovery Clinic. Her clinical interests include autoimmune diseases and kidney function, pediatric dialysis, pediatric nephrology and pediatric kidney transplant. Dr. Najera is also academically interested in research surrounding the effects autoimmune diseases have on kidney function. In addition, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
