Dr. Abdul’s clinical interests include caring for athletes and active individuals of all ages with injuries or functional impairment, non-operative management of musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis, tendon or soft tissue injuries and nerve entrapment, diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, orthobiologic and regenerative treatments, and sports-related concussions. Her academic and research interests focus on medical education, characterizing the role of inflammation on musculoskeletal pathology, orthobiologic and regenerative medicine, precision medicine in non-operative orthopedics, and the effective utilization of musculoskeletal ultrasound.
