Bio

Dr. Kari Schneider is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Schneider obtained her Medical Doctorate from the Washington University in St. Louis. She completed her residency training in pediatrics at Saint Louis Children's Hospital, and ecently completely pediatric emergency medicine fellowship training at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Schneider has been involved in education, research, and advocacy throughout her training. In addition to teaching other GME learners, she has presented CME topics for EMS personnel as well as instructing a course for medical students. While in fellowship, Dr. Schneider completed a certificate program in Clinical and Translational Research and received a divisional small grant award to support her fellowship research activities. Dr. Schneider also presented multiple times to the Ohio Department of Health during her fellowship.
