Karen Borchert MD

Karen Borchert, MD, is a family medicine physician who provides women’s health services and care for transgender and gender non-binary patients. She works at the University of Minnesota Physicians Smiley’s Family Medicine Clinic where she practices integrated medicine, contraceptive counseling and gynecologic procedures. One of Dr. Borchert's main goals as a physician is to educate and empower patients to take an active role in their health care. She is also an Assistant Professor with the University of Minnesota Department of Family Medicine and Community Health.
