Julie Ottosen MD

Julie Ottosen, MD, is a general and critical care surgeon who strives to guide patients and families through scary and often life-threatening medical issues. She practices at M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center - Minneapolis, M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center, and M Health Fairview hospitals. Dr. Ottosen performs numerous general surgical procedures, as well as minimally invasive surgery, trauma, and acute care operations. Ottosen is an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine’s Department of Surgery, where she does research in traumatic brain injury, concussion, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
