Bio

Joseph Neglia, MD, MPH, is a pediatric hematologist and oncologist who cares for children with blood disorders, retinoblastoma and brain tumors. Dr. Neglia specializes in providing care to long-term survivors of childhood cancer and sees patients at University of Minnesota Health Masonic Children's Hospital Pediatric Specialty Care Journey Clinic. His area of research involves the long-term effects of cancer therapy in cancer survivors and the occurrence of second malignancies following childhood cancer. Dr. Neglia is also a faculty member in the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology and the Department Head of the Department of Pediatrics, along with being a professor in the School of Public Health and a faculty member in the Division of Epidemiology and Community Health.
