Bio

John Lake, MD, is a gastroenterologist, hepatologist and liver transplant surgeon. Dr. Lake cares for patients with various GI Cancers and sees patients at University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center and at the Minnesota Endoscopy Center. Dr. Lake's research focuses on post-transplant hepatitis C, predictors of outcomes following liver transplantation and the development of new immuosuppressive agents. He is also a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota Medical School with a substantial portfolio of published work, including over 190 articles in peer-reviewed journals and 25 book chapters.
