Bio

Janet Hume, MD, PhD, is a pediatrician who cares for children with sepsis, shock and MRSA infections. She specializes in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and critical care, and her clinical interests include other pathophysiologic processes involving a dysregulated inflammatory/immune response. She sees patients at University of Minnesota Health Masonic Children's Hospital. Dr. Hume is also an assistant professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
