Bio

James Harmon, Jr, MD, PhD, is a critical care surgeon who treats adult patients in need of critical care, general surgery and trauma services. Dr. Harmon sees his patients at University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center. His clinical interests include acute care surgery, general surgery, minimally invasive surgery, transplant surgery, trauma surgery and surgical critical care. Dr. Harmon is also academically interested in experimental stem cell transplantation, islet allograft transplantation and advances in hepatobiliary and minimally invasive surgery. In addition, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
