Heather Thompson MD

Heather Thompson Buum, MD, is an internist who cares for adult patients with women’s health, internal medicine, or primary care needs. Dr. Thompson Buum sees her patients at University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center. Her clinical interests include women's health, preventive medicine and consultative general medicine. She is also academically interested in patient safety and medical errors and developing the educational skills of residents. In addition, she is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
