Bio

Heather Bergeson, MD, is a sports medicine physician and pediatrician who specializes in youth acute and overuse athletic injuries. Her clinical interests include growth plate fractures, female athletes, and bone health. As a sports medicine physician, she enjoys caring for musculoskeletal issues in patients of all ages. As an experienced pediatrician, she has a special interest in the young athlete and strives to promote health and physical fitness at an early age. Dr. Bergeson’s goal is to keep her patients active and healthy throughout their lives. She practices at TRIA Orthopaedic Center. She is also an adjunct clinical assistant professor in the University of Minnesota Medical School Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and team physician for Minnesota Golden Gophers women’s ice hockey.
