Bio

Fernando Pena, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in ankle cartilage restoration, ankle replacements, foot and ankle fractures and related sports injuries. He sees patients at University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center Orthopaedic Clinic. His research interests include ankle joint preservation, ankle stability and limb preservation. Dr. Pena is also an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
