Bio
Elizabeth Braunlin, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist who specializes in pediatric heart failure and muscular dystrophy. She sees patients at University of Minnesota Health Masonic Children’s Hospital Heart Center. Dr. Braunlin strives to closely with families to ensure they understand and are prepared to deal with the special issues that are part of the transplant experience. Her clinical interests include cardiac transplantation and long-term care for mucopolysaccharidoses after marrow transplantation or enzyme therapy. Dr. Braunlin is a professor of pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology and Director of the Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
