Donald Nixdorf DDS

Don Nixdorf, DDS, MS, is a dentist who treats adult patients with trigeminal neuralgia and specializes in diagnosis and management of chronic orofacial pain disorders, headache disorders and temporomandibular disorders (TMD). Dr. Nixdorf sees patients in the Moos Tower School of Dentistry. His research is focused on the topic of persistent non-odontogenic “tooth” pain, issues related to classification, diagnosis, epidemiology, exploration of mechanisms and treatment options. Dr. Nixdorf is also an associate professor in the Department of Diagnostic and Biological Sciences at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
