Bio

Daniel Saltzman, MD, PhD, is a surgeon who cares for pediatric patients in need of trauma, cancer and general surgery. Dr. Saltzman sees his patients at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. His clinical interests include neonatal surgery, pediatric general surgery, minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopy in children and surgical robotics. Dr. Saltzman is also academically interested in research focused on biologic delivery systems for interleukin-IL2 for unresectable hepatic metastases. In addition, he is a Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
