Bio

Dana E. Johnson, MD, PhD, is a neonatologist whose clinical interests include international adoption medicine. He sees patients primarily at M Health Fairview Explorer Pediatric Specialty Clinic and in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. He founded the University’s International Adoption Clinic. Dr. Johnson is a Professor in the University of Minnesota Medical School Department of Pediatrics’ Division of Neonatology. His research interests include the effects of early institutionalization on growth and development and the outcomes of internationally adopted children. He is also is an experienced investigator in the field of pulmonary neuroendocrine cell biology.
