Christopher Tignanelli MD

Christopher Tignanelli, MD, is a general surgeon who cares for adult patients with critical illness and emergency surgical conditions. Dr. Tignanelli sees patients at the University of Minnesota Medical Center East Bank Hospital. His clinical interests include trauma, surgical critical care, ECMO and emergency general surgery. He is also academically interested in quality improvement, patient safety, trauma systems research and surgical outcomes. In addition, he is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Critical Care/Acute Care Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
