Bio

Bryce A. Binstadt, MD, PhD, is a pediatric rheumatologist who cares for children with arthritis, lupus, dermatomyositis, and related rheumatologic disorders. His care and clinical interests also include scleroderma in children. He sees patients primarily at M Health Fairview Explorer Pediatric Specialty Clinic and the Pediatric Specialty Clinic - Burnsville. Dr. Binstadt is a distinguished University Professor in the University of Minnesota Medical School’s Department of Pediatrics. He is the director of the Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program, an associate director of the Medical Scientist Training Program (MD/PhD), and an assistant director of the Pediatric Residency Program. Dr. Binstadt also heads a laboratory in the University of Minnesota's Center for Immunology that is broadly focused on autoimmunity and innate immunity, including how systemic autoimmune diseases lead to cardiovascular inflammation and damage, and the contribution of the nervous system to inflammatory arthritis.
