Bio

Alexander Khoruts, MD, is a gastroenterologist who treats patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (heart burn) and various gastrointestinal disorders. Dr. Khoruts provides care at University of Minnesota Medical Center East Bank Hospital Endoscopy Department, University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center Gastroenterology Clinic and University of Minnesota Health Minnesota Endoscopy Center Gastroenterology. He maintains clinical interests in immune disorders that affect gut function, including inflammatory bowel disease and gastrointestinal infections. He is also a Professor of Medicine with the Division of Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition for the University of Minnesota Medical School.
