Bio

Aditya Jain, MD, is an oncologist and hospitalist whose clinical interests include nuclear medicine. He completed residencies in internal medicine and nuclear medicine and a fellowship in molecular imaging, and was drawn to the field of oncology after learning about the extensive oncologic applications of molecular imaging and by his desire to be more directly involved in the care of cancer patients. He practices primarily at the University of Minnesota Medical Center East Bank Hospital. Dr. Jain is an assistant professor in the University of Minnesota Medical School Department of Medicine’s Division of Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation. His current research interests include PET (positron emission tomography) applications in oncology, imaging-based clinical trials, and subclinical atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease.
