Mpls.St.Paul Magazine’s 2025 Rising Stars honors 112 University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians) doctors across 34 specialties. The Rising Stars list celebrates these doctors for their commitment to patients across the State of Minnesota and contributions to the future of patient care throughout the first decade of their career.
M Physicians doctors account for over one quarter of the list, the most of any practice represented.
Each year, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine asks physicians across Minnesota, “If you or a loved one needed medical care, which doctor would you recommend?” To be nominated for the rising stars list, physicians must have been fully licensed for 10 years or less. The final list of honorees is determined by a panel of peer physicians.
“As University physicians, one of our most critical responsibilities is training the next generation of doctors to care for Minnesota,” said Bevan Yueh, MD, MPH, CEO of University of Minnesota Physicians and Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs at the U of M Medical School. “These Rising Stars are leaders in their disciplines, bringing research discoveries directly to patients and preparing their trainees to do the same.”
