The University of Minnesota Physicians Board has named Bevan Yueh, MD, MPH, CEO of University of Minnesota Physicians and Vice Dean of Clinical Affairs for the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Yueh took on the role of interim leader of our academic clinical practice in late 2019.

“Dr. Yueh steadily navigated the practice throughout the pandemic, leading our transition to telehealth and helping us to quickly restore access to care for our patients,” said Jakub Tolar, MD, PhD, Dean of the Medical School and Board Chair of University of Minnesota Physicians. 
“Most importantly, Dr. Yueh is a compassionate leader who cares deeply about the wellbeing and success of the people in our organizations and delivering excellent care to our patients and community. We are grateful to Dr. Yueh for all he has done for our Medical School and clinical practice and look forward to great things to come under his leadership.”
 
An accomplished surgeon and researcher, Dr. Yueh has been with the University of Minnesota since 2007. Throughout his tenure he has held several leadership roles, including University of Minnesota Physicians Board Chair, as well as head of the department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
