University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians) is proud to announce the relocation of its Broadway Family Medicine Clinic. For more than 40 years the clinic has been serving the North Minneapolis community and will continue its commitment in a new space located at the northeast corner of Broadway and 26th Avenues in the Jordan neighborhood.

“We have a saying at Broadway Family Medicine Clinic: ‘The community makes us relevant.’ A primary consideration when searching for the new location was finding a space close to the current location. It is our mission to serve and provide care to the North Minneapolis community,” said Oren Avery, clinic manager at the M Physicians Broadway Family Medicine Clinic.

The Broadway Family Medicine Clinic is certified Healthcare Home by the Minnesota Department of Health ensuring patient-centered, whole person care to improve total health and well-being.

“We are dedicated to providing the full spectrum of family medicine to patients of all ages. Our providers emphasize prevention and wellness, as well as a broad knowledge of the patient in the context of the family and the community,” said Dr. Kathryn Justesen, family medicine physician at the M Physicians Broadway Family Medicine Clinic.

In partnership with North Memorial Hospital, the clinic is also home to the University of Minnesota Medical School’s Family Medicine Residency Training Program.

“Our Medical School is a national leader in producing family medicine practitioners and more than 70 percent of Minnesota's physicians trained at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Our Broadway Family Medicine Clinic is integral to our mission to train the next generation of family medicine physicians,” said Dr. James Pacala, head of the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

The clinic will continue to see patients at its current location until the new space opens in early 2021.
