M Health Fairview announced the opening of a walk-in medical clinic at the Mall of America. The clinic will open its doors on the third floor of the mall in November. It will provide services seven days a week, including drug screening, travel health consultations, sports physicals, and basic medical care for acute problems.
As other medical facilities have previously been attempted at the mall, this is the first truly primary care clinic in that space. The clinic will cater to everyone, including workers, travelers and shoppers.
“A mall clinic is a natural extension of efforts to make healthcare more convenient,” leaders of M Health Fairview told the Star Tribune in an interview recently. Dr. Badrinath Konety, chief clinical officer for M Health Fairview, also spoke with the Star Tribune. For more information, click here.
