The 2020 Ovarian Cancer Midwest Focus Conference will focus on basic science, translational and clinical topics on ovarian cancer, and will offer sessions on emerging topics including Early Detection, Immunotherapy, Novel Therapeutics, Metabolism, Preclinical Models of Ovarian Cancer, Personalized Medicine, Microenvironment, Epigenetics, PARP Inhibitors, Chemoresistance, Combination Therapy, Clinical Studies, Technology Commercialization, and Career Development (virtual lunch and learn).



The Symposium will begin virtually on Thursday morning. The conference is single-track (no concurrent sessions) to give all attendees the opportunity to hear all presentations and discussions. Keynote speakers will open the meeting each day followed by oral presentations. The full day session on Friday will offer a panel discussion on a relevant issue.

Our distinguished list of speakers include Dr. Ernst Lengyel, from the University of Chicago, who will talk about cancer metabolism, Dr. Ronny Drapkin, from the University of Pennsylvania, with his talk about epigenetics, Dr. Patricia Modrow, from the Department of Defense, who will talk about Career Development, Dr. Hans Clevers, from the Hubrecht Institute for Developmental Biology and Stem Cell Research, who will be presenting on preclinical models, and Dr. Michael Anglesio, from the British Columbia Health Care, who will talk about personalized medicine.
